uLife Update

Hi everyone!

Here are some uLife updates...

Volunteer Opportunities
Community Days
Community Church has a big Community Day coming up on Easter weekend but there is a lot to do to prepare. In particular there will be a food truck coming on Thursday April 9th that needs to be unloaded. Once everything is off the truck it needs to be put together into kits that will be handed out the day of the event. We need lots of volunteers for this activity! If you cannot make the entire three hours please come for what you can. If you can help, please confirm with me as soon as you can (craig@mpcc.org)!

What: Food Truck and Kit Making
Date: Thursday, April 9th
Time: 3-6pm
Place: Mount Pleasant Community Church - 1400 W. Broomfield St.

EleRave After School Program
We need AICs (Adults In Charge) on Mondays and Tuesdays for our junior high and high school after school program. We open up the youth room so they can come do homework or just hang out. Email me if you are interested! (craig@mpcc.org )

Fellowship Fridays
What are Fellowship Fridays?
This is weekly time for college students just to hang out with each other and create community. The youth center at MPCC will be open and you may come and go as you please. There is no structured agenda but we will have food, foosball, air hockey, board games, Nintendo Wii, basketball, washer toss, and eventually baggo and ladder golf available for you to use. Chances are we will end up creating some fun tournaments but they will be optional to participate in.

So...there's food, huh?
Yes! The plan is to use the grill to bbq as much as possible. When the weather does not permit we will move to other indoor options (whatever and indoor option may be). If you are eating, we do ask for a $3 donation to help offset the cost of food. If you are on the struggle bus financially, it's cool, let food be on us!

Who is invited?
This was designed for the MPCC college student in mind but is also very much an outreach event. You are more than welcome to bring friends. They don't have to be currently attending college but we ask that you invite only those in the traditional college age range (18ish-25ish).

How do I get there?
1400 W. Broomfield St.
Mount Pleasant, MI 48858

Love the google maps.
